What a poverty franchise lol. But hey good on getting a block of discounted rooms.

Quote:
A behind-the-scenes reveal won't help the Bengals get away from the franchise's "cheap" label anytime soon.

Former Cincinnati quarterback and Ring of Honor inductee Boomer Esiason revealed on his WFAN radio show on Friday that the team invited him via email to the Ring of Honor weekend this October and included two complimentary tickets, but the ROH inductees have to pay for their hotels and any additional tickets.

Esiason did not sound pleased with that treatment as a man who's given his blood, sweat, and tears to the organization.

"You tell me what this invite is, and then we can discuss it," his co-host Greg Giannotti said to Esiason as he read the Bengals invite email. "Okay, the Bengals organization is excited to celebrate our legends community and kindly invite you and a guest to join us in celebrating Dave Lapham and Lemar Parrish on Ring of Honor weekend in October, culminating at our game on Sunday, October 26, when the Bengals take on the New York Jets. More details are below, and we kindly ask you to RSVP no later than Friday, August 22. You and a guest can receive two complimentary tickets with an opportunity to purchase an additional one, if you wish.

"If you are traveling in for the weekend from out of town, we have secured a block of rooms at the Renaissance Hotel at a preferred discounted rate. Rooms are limited, so please book directly for the early and the best rate. We look forward to hosting you in The Jungle for an unforgettable weekend. Don't hesitate to reach out to me or another guy on the staff with any questions. Thank you. And Who Dey."

Brown is a clown. There's just no excuse for an NFL owner to be cheap given the money they are making. Burrow should have just played out his rookie deal as he would be playing this season and next on franchise tags and then could have left to play for a better organization in 2027.

Just watched their final pre-season game, I think it's going to be a long year for my Saints..I actually like the D, but they probably have the worst QBs in the NFL. And their depth is super thin everywhere; 1 injury anywhere and it's USFL-caliber backups.

They legit may be in the running for the 1st overall pick. Arch Manning, declare early please and come home..

It really looks like a possibility. It's going to be hard for them to win many football games with those QB's.

So now that the pre-season is over and the season officially get's going in like 10 days, who dares to make some Predictions?

Superbowl Winner Baltimore over Philadelphia
MVP: Lamar Jackson
DPOY: T.J. Watt
OPOY: Ja'Marr Chase
OROY: Ashton Jeanty
DROY: Mykel Williams
Comeback Player: Trevor Lawrence
Coach of the Year: Liam Cohen

Last Place team: Saints
Surprise bad team: Miami
Surprise good team: New England

Other predictions: Eagles repeat as NFC winners. Commanders struggle and miss the playoffs with a 9-8 record. Bronco's unseed the Chiefs as the AFC West winners. Bears do make the playoffs with better coaching all 4 teams in NFC North win at least 9 games. Joe Burrow throws for over 5000 yards and Ja'Marr Chase tops 2000 receiving yards. Bengals also give up 450 points and ask defensive players to pay back parts of their salaries.

Yeah if you're gonna self-hatred the Chiefs into losing the division to the Broncos, GOAT Nix is surely MVP in that scenario. And Jaxson Dart leading the Giants to the playoffs and turning NYC into the Jackson/Jaxson/Jaxxxsun/Jacksssson capital of the world is inevitable.

I don't think the prediction is that far fetched this year...Superbowl hangover has not been kind to most teams. Unlike 2021 the Chiefs actually have some real competition in the Division now. So I can see them going 11-6 or even 10-7 quite easily. KC gets's Buffalo, Baltimore, and Detroit. Denver gets Miami, Pittsburgh, and Minnesota. It's not like I think they're going 6-11 and firing the entire coaching staff and running Mahomes out of town.

I am tempted to put some chump change on the Giants to win the East though...if no one repeats, and the Commanders are who everyone is looking at...it would be true to form for the Giants to somehow take it.

Broncos overachieved last year, it's just as likely they take a step back as a step forward. But if the Chiefs have actually improved their offensive line they could actually end up playing better this year, but having a worse record because of how absurd their one score record was last year. But it's like the Patriots, I'm not writing the obituary until I see more evidence.

Chargers are the only real threat to the Chiefs for the division. In fact I would not be shocked if Broncos finish last in AFC West. They are being pretty overrated in the media for a team that overachieved last season as those teams typically fall back to earth as they won't be catching teams by surprise. Maybe Nix is the real deal but until it happens I see a Stroud like regression in year two.

I always laugh, but I do get it. You spend all those years hating the Patriots, then you become the Patriots, it's a tough spot that every fan base wishes they were in lol.

Well at least I give the receipts to call me out. I think the Chiefs get to the Division round this year. But one of Jackson or Allen finally best them there.

If Andy Reid is coaching BYU with his new 25 year old wife in 15 years with 6 Superbowl rings...I might wonder why I dared go off course.

Appears as if Jakobi Meyers would like a trade out of Las Vegas. He's in the final year of a deal so it's more of a contract request but that's not the distraction your rebuilding team wants right before the season starts. He's gotta be their best WR right?

Raiders could be like the 2014 Chiefs in that they don't get a single receiving TD from their WR's. Bowers, Jeanty, and Michael Mayer, and Raheem Mostart will have to catch all the TD passes.

Yeah he's their best WR but they drafted Jack Bech in the 2nd round of the draft who's basically his replacement. I think they want to keep Meyers for this season while Bech develops and if he looks like a player, then let Meyers walk in free agency. Meyers is a really good #2 WR though.

Commanders extended Terry McLauren. 3 years 96 million...although it's hard to find much for details other than a 30 million dollar bonus. They still have Daniel's on the cheap for 3 years I think.

Bengals and Hendrickson settle with him getting a 13 million dollar raise for this year. No long term deal but he will play week one. So Bengals might win if they score 35.

Browns will win one more game than they should and miss out on the QB they need.

Barring some FlacGOAT miracles, the Browns should easily be able to nail down that top three pick. Jags pick is great ammo for moving up, if necessary.
