I can’t see fleetwood ever winning after this.

I feel so bad for him. He even played great down the stretch, but in true Fleetwood fashion, just choked when I mattered

I don't know how you can keep doing it to yourself. I guess having north of $40M in career earnings softens the blow.

Even for another heartbreak today he still earned $1.2 million. We'd all happily keep getting crushed if we get a multi-year hookers and blow budget as a consolation prize.

It is disappointing to see Macintyre crumble on the opening holes and likely throwing away a victory today.

"After only three weeks on the job, new PGA Tour CEO Brian Rolapp is promising "significant change" to the tour's current model.

Rolapp, speaking to reporters Wednesday at the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club, announced he has formed a nine-person future competition committee that will be led by 15-time major champion Tiger Woods."

No detail on potential changes but sounds like they want to work fast. With LIV's irrelevance, it will be interesting to see what they do, no longer having to focus on that threat.

Good to see that Rory is not on that committee.

Scheffler is incredible. He's going to shoot 4 rounds in the mid-60s be around -20 and win.

course is easy or these guys are good, only 2 guys out of 30 shot over par today

Course is just too easy, even removing the advance starts they got the past few years the best scores were close to -20.

This is not the right course for what they want the tour championship to mean.

Has anyone kept up on LIV at all? Wondering how theyre diing in terms of viewership and fan growth. Anecdotally, in my golf groups even the guys that had some interest and watched a bit have admitted they dont even check what's going on anymore.

Who could have possibly known that the Anthony Kim experiment would fail.

The PGA has lost total interest in any kind of merger.

A new round of defections could spark another panic I suppose but the ROI on the last spending spree has been a disaster.

I haven't heard any of the top players who have signed extensions on their current LIV deals, and as I recall a lot of them expire next year. If LIV won't be offering the huge signing bonuses again I would expect a fair few of them try and defect back to the PGA, although Bryson and Rahm are pretty much it for guys who fans would want to see back on the PGA tour. I guess maybe Hatton cause he's such a hothead he can be entertaining in the "he can meltdown anytime" sense.

Wasn't Cam Smith statistically the best golfer to leave PGA tour at ths time of moving over?

Id also like Brooks Keopka back just to have a proper heel. Id say koepka, Smith, Rahm and Bryson back in phase would be an awesome shot in the arm for watching events.

The rest are pretty mediocre and not noteworthy anymore.
