I would think the Blues version are the best, there are quite a few hall of famers
Hull, Gilmour, Mullen, MacInnis, Fuhr, Housley,

Cal Jose has superior goaltending (and coaching), but the rest of the lineup leaves a lot to be desired:
Toffoli – Nolan – Makarov
Stern – Donovan - Nieminen
Bozek – Kisio - Friesen
T Hunter – Lowry – Kruse
Berezan
Suter- Marchment
Zyuzin - Hannan
White – Schlemko
Kyte
Kiprusoff
Vernon
Toskala
Coach: D Sutter

For some reason, I always remember Butler being on the Flames for far longer than he actually was. I remember him being one of those players that the team keeps inexplicably bringing back too. No, he was in Calgary 3 seasons. Never came back.

No James Neal? He was not horrible when he played in Pittsburgh.
Edit:
Also, I'd add:
Zarley Zalapski on defence.
Ville Nieminen...because its funny.
Shean Donovan....for nostalgia purposes.

3 seasons of Butler as a regular in the lineup IS a long time.

All of those guys were overrated by fans here IMO.
And no, no James Neal ever.
The Pens/Flames aren't the best combo team but they sure are tough.

By the time Zalapski was on the Flames, he was suffering from the buildup of previous injuries and wasn't what he once was, but he was a legit force in his prime Pittsburgh days. Mobile 215lbs d-man who could put up 65 points.

Never put up 65 with Pittsburgh (though he may have been on pace for it a few times). He did once in Hartford (in an 83 game year), but he was also terrible defensively - maybe as a result.
Poor dude got traded from Pittsburgh in their first cup year.

Good thing you didn't include Steve Smith. He was playing for Calgary the whole time he was on the Oilers.
