C4L I hope someone/ you write down some of your thoughts. Great outlook you often bring.

I agree completely. I try and think of respect for others as something everyone starts with 100% of from me, and then their actions can either gain more respect or less respect over time. If someone has over that 100% respect level, then I am actively trying to learn from or emulate them.

Everyone deserves decency and respect until proven otherwise, and even then it takes a lot for me to whittle it down to 0 respect or decency.

People are often confusing respect with trust.

No, respect is NOT earned. Respect is FREELY given, and if you have anywhere close to decent manners, you give it always unless the you have learned of a particular person or two that you should no longer be giving them respect. It is up to an individual to make people lose respect for them, but otherwise, you walk this earth with respect for everyone.

Trust is earned. Trust shouldn't be freely given.

We live in an upside down world where people walk around with no respect for anyone else, while blindly trusting idiots spreading misinformation.
So after his 70+ years on the planet, and based on everything we know about DJT, are we supposed to respect him?

Bruins in on McDavid per Eklund. Sounds like both Zacha and Middlestat are on the table so it is pretty serious. You know Eklund is usually out to lunch but I think he has a real scoop with this one.

That would be an amazing trade. It will never happen, I feel like Edmonton would sooner walk him to FA then accept a package like that during the season. But oh man would the tears be so, so sweet.

Eklund is such a f'in putz that he can't even spell Cam Neely's name correctly in spite of his source allegedly being directly connected. And you know, Cam Neely being a hall of famer and the president of an O6 club for multiple years.

This morning, I got a very strange text from a Bruins source who has very familiar with Cam Neeli and the rest...

In all seriousness what would it take?

A signed McDavid could probably bring a haul. Pastrnak / McAvoy / Lohrei / Poitras are all decent options to make a splash. Boston ain’t making the playoffs and their 1st will have big value too.

Based on past trade history, who's the 25-26 equivalent of Adam Larsson? I'd be packing my bags if I was in his shoes.

Would be hilarious if that is what McDavid was traded for.

Pastranak
Lohrei
Mittledstadt

1st

I am guessing that it in the stands of the ballpark at least... Still don't see why Edmonton does it unless they know that McDavid is out no matter what and they think Pasta-Drai has good potential (I would say that's actually a good bet.) Pasta is already locked down longer term.
