Who knew a game against the Pirates on a Monday would have the fans so jazzed up.

Looks like we need some 9th inning magic tonight. A loss to the Pirates would sting a little bit. Skenes or not. That's tough.

Haha. What a disaster of little league defense.

It’s weird that a backup catcher is such a significant step down in defensive ability. Heineman has been a surprise as a hitter but it’s also been surprising to see how flawed he is defensively.

Heineman has played 47 games with 7 errors. Kirk has played 100 games with 7 errors.

Little was tough to watch too.

The walks out of the bullpen have been alarming. Dog days of summer but the Jays really need to sharpen up some things.

I’m used to the backup catcher being a guy who is a defensive specialist who can’t hit a beach ball. Not so much with Heineman!

I'm very surprised at all the confusion about that play from Sportsnet (and fans). The batter flipped his bat so it flipped four times before resting....on ball four. And our catcher immediately went right at him. No need to look any deeper than that, it was obvious on the first damn replay, lol.

I think he flipped the bat because he's a massive ###### who can't handle a catcher questioning a pitch on him. Not to make the bat flip four times.

Is this sarcasm? Pham has a long history of being a weirdo hothead.
