I went Johnny. He and Fleury (and maybe Wolf or Makarov for a different reason) had the longest of shots of the guys on that list to be superstars.

Giving the nod to JG for sentimental reasons, but Theo's accomplishments at his size in that NHL is mind boggling...

If I look at is as "best value from the pick" as opposed to "best player regardless of where the pick was" I think I have to go with Fleury despite his post-hockey issues. Hull in the 6th round was a really good pick too but since they didn't keep him the Flames didn't get most of the value (even though the trade probably helped win the cup).

I voted Nieuwendyk. Although after thinking about Bingo's first point as to which player had the biggest impact on the Flames, you could argue Brett Hull did. Without him being traded for Ramage, there may not have been a cup win here, especially with Suter going down early in Rd 1.
