trending to a -3 for Littler and a -2 for Chech so at least neither will be on the biggest loser leaderboard

That's the last round!
Thanks for participating!
Looking forward to see how many on this list hit the 200 game plateau. Guessing it's above 10

Single digit point totals for a 20 year old forward in the NCAA don’t inspire much. Even the likes of a Jooris was putting up 30 plus points at that point.
But he’s ahead of Chechelev. I’m not even sure Chechelev will be playing pro hockey this year.
Not a bad prospect list this year. Even into the 30s, some interesting players to follow.

Chechelev struggled in the ECHL and similarly in the Russian VHL. There's some speculation that he's been dealing with some serious medical issues (Dobber).

Yes, these polls over the years help me pass the boring hockey summers.
Bingo, please start a new tradition with the daily most hated team vote...

Think after watching the prospects game I would move Suniev up. Maybe even into the top 5. I’ll be honest I wouldn’t have Brzustewicz at number 3. He’s quite slow. Think I’d have him behind Kuznetsov and Solovyov but hard to compare with them not playing.
I’ll probably move Bell up as well. I think he’d be a great 4th liner.
Flames have a lot of legit prospects.

So you're going to drop down Brzu because he's slow? Being slow doesn't mean you are the worst. Brzu more than makes up for it for his offensive awareness. He is also one of the best d prospects we have (if not the best) in keeping the puck in the offensive zone. That is a big plus and a must in the NHL, where puck possession is EVERYTHING.
He had a very slow and painful start to the AHL season, but he ended the season on fire. I expect him to have another great season.
I do agree on Suniev. I had him ranked much higher when I was voting.

These prospect games are really difficult to draw judgements from because of the lack of structure. It's a bit of a fire drill out there.
Brz for me, didn't look out of place in his NHL game at all. Sample size of 1 I realize, but I would put far more weight into that single game than any number of prospect games.
I agree though Suniev probably should be a little higher, above Battaglia and Mews (for me).

I love Suniev. But 2 games, in September, against kids who mostly won't even get a sniff of the NHL, is not a reason to start completely re-assessing guys.
Brzustewicz looked great in the AHL and in the NHL last year - better than Suniev did.

Guess we’ll see in main camp. But the problem with his speed was the puck getting stripped from him and taking too long to start plays.
