Alejandro Kirk, you son of a b*, im in.

I have been so bitter about the Jays since Berrios was pulled for Kikuchi. I have not liked what the Jays have done since then. But how can you not like this team. I did not expect this.

I was really unsure when they traded Danny Jansen to the Sox last season to go with Kirk as the #1 guy, but that decision has been 100% vindicated. Heineman coming from nowhere as a decent backup hss been good as well. I don't think he's as good defensively as Kirk, but he's still hitting .339 midway through August, which is pretty good production from the #2 catcher spot, especially given how often they ask him to sac bunt.

Damn it. The only place and way they can turn the double play.

Starting to think this team might be going places this year.

You appreciate Jays defense when you see fielders miss balls like that.

I think the Jays have a chance to win this one still.

That was weird from the Rangers. Can understand playing some games in a tight game and need to give your reliever a few more minutes to warm up. This situation not so much.

Yeah. Now they've got Rowdy Tellez up there pitching in the 7th, so it's not like they're still pushing for the win here.

Tellez now pitching for the Rangers. Quite low of the Rangers to humiliate Rowdy like that.

I'm warming to the idea of forcing teams that use position players as pitchers to sit an unused reliever in the next game.

I think you're joking, but... I am pretty sure players volunteer.

I knew they could pull it out. Definitely holding my breath on this one.
