Guessing the betting companies will be paying out the Potter first manager sacked bets pretty quick.

West Ham are a cautionary tale. They sacked Moyes and thought Lopetegui would improve them, only for Moyes to finish higher with Everton while they are now stuck with Potter. Be careful what you wish for.

Sunderland can’t ask for much more than that.
West Ham, on the other hand, seem in for a long and painful season. They’ve been very poor.

Alright, only game left in EPL today is HumanRightsareforLosers FC vs. Wolves!
Go Wolves!!
I have a few teams that I kind of mildly support for various reasons, but my stunningly oblivious buddy lives and works in Wolverhampton, we met up in February and he tells me:
"They got a big soccer team around where I live...the Puppies or something?"
Yes. The Puppies. Go Puppies.

That was some nasty footwork from Bobb's your uncle before the goal. Still do not believe a guy named Oscar Bobb is Norwegian though, but I suppose Josh King was too so those crazy Norwegians and their American names.

How did City get Reijnders for £55 million? Smooth as butter player.

Can City just suck for at least a calendar year?
I don't want to see them back in contention, but I guess $300 million spent since January is going to do something.

Brentford have done very well since coming up, but feels like with the heavy losses they've sustained this summer it's gonna be very tough for them to stay up.

it's the first job as manager for Keith Andrews as well. Not that I doubt Moneyball Brentford, but yeah, they're probably in for a very difficult season.

Man U haven’t been bad. They’ve had some dangerous moments. Their new attackers look good.

Thought Arsenal were kinda poo outside of the goal, feels like if this is now where Ødegaard is going to be as a player that they are going to struggle this season, not enough creativity in midfield.

That palace chelsea result was crazy.. palace score and it got ruled out for marc guehi being within 1 meter of the Chelsea wall on the free kick? Crazy stuff, I've literally never seen that rule or call in a lot of decades of watching and playing soccer, just so random. There was pushing and shoving in advance and if it had been called off for that would be one thing but being too close to the wall? sometimes it feels like the prem finds ways for the big money teams not to lose busting out an arcane rule to rule out a goal against one of their cash cows.
Also chelsea really leaning into the world champions thing is funny, some random off season tournament no one cares about is your calling card, do they genuinely feel they are the champions of the world despite not winning any top tier honors in England or Europe.
