Return of the King.
With the return of King of the Hill I didn't see a thread.
I thought the revival was good so far. There is only a few questions I want answered going forward.
1. Where was Bobby if Peggy and Hank went to Saudi Arabia. The first thought is of course I Bobby went to Culinary school immediately after high school but some flash backs explaining would be neat. Explain how wasonasong became an investor, how Bobby dealt with his parents leaving ( he didn't even take date night well) etc etc ...
2. Why him and Connie haven't seen each since middle school? Like dis she get sent away to boarding school? Her parents still lived next door till this day. Like what? How did they have no contact at all since middle school!
3. Boomhauers girlfriend who is she? Will she ever show up or is it like the original where see is a mystery like his job?
4. Is John redcorn sticking it again to Nancy again. When Dale asks you should give it to Nancy Red corn replies " I've been giving it to Navy for years " does Redcorn mean in the present tense or a latter context?
My controversial take is I now prefer the toby huss version of Dale FOR THIS SEASON AND GOING FOREWARD. I have seen alot of ppl bitch about dales voice not realizing there was a change 3/4 in. Johnny Hardwick was sick when he did the first 7 episodes and you could tell. Toby huss was closer to the real Dale only because he didn't have the same afflictions which IMO was the reason to me he sounded closer to an older Dale more naturally.

Lol. Really should alter the title. Maybe something like:
Return of the King....of the Hill.

I was certain this was someone who was just late to watching it. Army of the Dead FTW!

I've only made it through 6 of the new episodes and I'm wondering what happened to Luanne and her baby from the original series?

I didn't realize that characters can't have voice actor changes.

Spose you'll have to take it up with the showrunner big dog

But with both Luanne and Lucky playing key roles in the original series, there had been some questions as to how the new revival series would handle their potential returns. As showrunner Saladin K. Patternson explained to IGN, the path the King of the Hill team decided to take was to retire the two characters rather than recast to better honor Brittany Murphy and Tom Petty.

Someone say Return of the King?
Quote:
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king.
|
Quote:
"Now the Captains of the West led their host towards the City, and folk saw them advance in line upon line, flashing and glinting in the sunrise and rippling like silver.
"But when Aragorn arose all that beheld him gazed in silence, for it seemed to them that he was revealed to them now for the first time. Tall as the sea-kings of old, he stood above all that were near; ancient of days he seemed and yet in the flower of manhood; and wisdom sat upon his brow, and strength and healing were in his hands, and a light was about him."
|
Quote:
Then Faramir stood up and spoke in a clear voice: “Men of Gondor, hear now the Steward of this Realm! Behold! One has come to claim the kingship at last. Here is Aragorn son of Arathorn, chieftain of the Dúnedain of Arnor, Captain of the Host of the West, bearer of the Star of the North, wielder of the Sword Reforged, victorious in battle, whose hands bring healing, the Elfstone, Elessar of the line of Valandil, Isildur’s son, Elendil’s son of Númenor. Shall he be king and enter into the City and dwell there?”
And all the host and all the people cried yea with one voice.
