I searched this thread for "Kingdom" which is a Korean zombie show in the vein of GoT, but I didn't see anything (a UFC show, Animal Kingdom, a Viking show etc).
If you like Korean horror and fast zombies in a Asian feudalistic time period... giddy up! Lots of political intrigue as well.
Plenty of gore, but it's not the primary point of the show. No nudity. Lots of practical effects, and characters generally acting "smart" when dealing with zombies.
The nice thing about a katana? It doesn't run out of bullets!

I recommend original Korean with English subtitles. It's on Netflix where I am, so I'd assume most places.
At least they have saved all of the funny bits for the actual show. Pretty terrible trailer.
I'm willing to be cautiously optimistic. Firstly, because Oscar is back and he was always one of my favourites but secondly, watching 'Afterlife' the hijinks and insanity that local news reporters has a lot of gold available.
I do wonder if they're going to go with a lot of cameos to get the ball rolling, but the only cameo I crave is Creed Bratton. Maybe Stanley.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.

Late to watch, but my wife and I just finished the first three seasons of Mayor of Kingstown. Violent, gritty. Good show. Looking forward to season 4 in late October.
I'm liking what I've seen from Alien Earth so far. Original Alien movie vibes and looks like there will be more than just xenomorph aliens. It's scoring high with reviewers according to RT as well. Hopefully the quality holds up for the entire season and they don't go overboard with filler episodes that plague even really good shows like Andor and Severance.

Severance led all programs with 27 nominations, followed by The Penguin with 24 nominations.[8] The Studio became the most-nominated first-year comedy series in the awards' history with 23 nominations; the Apple TV+ comedy surpassed the record held by Apple TV+ sports comedy Ted Lasso, which received 20 nominations in 2021. The series also tied The Bear's 23 nominations in the previous year for most nominations for a comedy series in a single season.[9]

I'm a little surprised by The Studio. Don't get me wrong, I liked it, but thought it was more good than great. Maybe it wasn't a great year for comedy series?
