They obviously didn't like the results lol.
Need some time to figure out how to twist it or find new weird wording for subsequent surveys.
Deplorable ####s.

Lol, yup. The results are very likely the polar opposite of what they wanted, so they’re scared to release them. Bunch of cowardly losers.

Province refuses to release early results of its Alberta Next surveys
Postmedia sought responses from the public to questions in the Alberta Next survey on a provincial pension plan and denying provincial programs to non-citizens
In letters emailed Wednesday, the provincial government stated it is declining to release any of the records.
Executive council has decided to refuse access to all of the records you requested,” the letters all state, citing a part of#the#Access to Information Act which allows the withholding of records deemed to be advice to officials.
“Information, including the proposed plans, policies or projects of a public body, the disclosure of which could reasonably be expected to result in disclosure of a pending policy or budgetary decision,” the portion of the act describing the exemption states
The following section#of the act, which#came into force on June 11, states the above exemption does not apply to information that is a statistical survey.

The good news is the way the questions were worded that survey was not statistical in nature. Sweet sweet loop holes

Alberta is appealing a temporary injunction of a law banning doctors from providing gender-affirming care to youth.
A judge granted the injunction in June, ruling the provincial law raises serious Charter issues that need to be hashed out in an ongoing court challenge of the legislation.
Court of King's Bench Justice Allison Kuntz said the law is likely to cause irreparable harm to gender-diverse youth and she didn't find the contrary evidence submitted by the province to be overwhelming.
The government, in an appeal filed to the Calgary court last month, argues the injunction was premature, since it wasn't fully in effect.
It also claims the judge made a mistake and "mixed fact and law" in deciding the legislation would cause irreparable harm.

Why do they hate their citizens so much? Who are they doing this for? The freedom brigade sure shuts the #### up quickly when it's the rights of those who give them the skeevies are being taken away. Aren't we the free-est ####ing province on Earth? WTF man, this doesn't seem at all like freedom, having a government fighting the court to take rights away from it's own citizens.

That was on short notice too. I was there at 1:00 when it started.
This picture was from after I was there.

The problem is you're still signing a petition to have a stupid referendum. Give me a petition to not waste our money holding any separation referendum, and I'll sign that.

That's essentially what it is. I'd rather have 'Do you want Alberta to leave Canada yes/no' as a potential referendum question, rather than the 'sovereign Alberta within a united Canada' bull#### the APP is pushing. And if it's a succes, if they get close to the near 300,000 signatures and the APP do not get near their 177,000 necessary signatures, maybe it derails the whole separation movement and makes a referendum unnecessary.

You're signing a petition to have a referendum on separation, not to not have a referendum. Does it really matter if it's a Yes/No question where Yes means stay and No means leave, or Yes means leave and No means stay?
Either way, it's a stupid waste of time and money.

I think the value is actually in the signiture collecting as it shows the passion of people who want to stay in Canada as opposed to just negative separatist news all the time. The media showing people passionate about Canada is beneficial even if a referendum question is a waste of time.
