I think Lesnar coming back is solely to give Cena’s last few months some meaning.

HHH said they're letting Cena tell them who he wants to face these last four months and Lesnar was the guy he wanted.

That was the loudest crowd reaction to a line in a promo that I can remember in a long time.

It was so good.

No because Netflix is the sole provider in Canada.

I thought Triplemania last night was good.
Sometimes we forget how good of a worker Nattie is and its a shame that WWE never let her really show off her working skills.

Naomi/Trinity with an all-time promo tonight. A shame she's going away for nine months, but good to see the Bloodline grow.

She's right there with Dom and Liv for the most improved superstars over the past few months/years.

I'm sick of Rollins though. His shtick with Heyman is tedious. It was better when he was away for a few weeks when Bron and Bronson were leading. Breakker should be champ, and the face of Raw... Don't make him wait.

I think this is the third time that she's walked away from a belt.
She got injured
When her and Sasha got mad and walked out of the company
And now with this pregnancy

I doubt they ever book her that strong again if she comes back.

Bron and Heyman turning on Seth and taking over the group (add somebody like Melo or Trick Williams as the new third man)

And then Seth having to turn to Punk and Reigns as a team against the new Heyman group should be the long term booking here.

But I think you need premier singles matches between Punk and Rollins and Reigns and Rollins before you do that

Noted unreliable source for WWE information and regular Chris Jericho mouth piece Dave Meltzer is saying WWE is looking at Jericho for the Rumble as his AEW contract is up this year.

If Jericho could put his EGO aside and come back on a Spot Piece Legends deal and maybe a backstage producer then maybe they'd bring him back.

But that's a huge IF.

The guy does have a good brain for the business though and was able to reinvent himself over the years, so I do think he'd have value in more of a backstage role.

A) Jericho is probably putting out this rumor himself to drive up his value in contract negotiations. I don't know if a HHH WWE is all that interested in bringing back Jericho except for a hall of fame induction.

B) I want to add on that Jericho, I'm not convinced has that great mind for business unless he has someone to filter him, and can stand up to his BS.

C) I don't know if Jericho is suited to a backstage producer role, I don't know if Management would trust him, and two of the more senior guys in HHH and Sean Michaels, literally can't stand Jericho.

D) Jericho has gone a bit crazy, and he does have a huge ego, and in the last few years, he's just become a bit of a parasite and heat thief.

Sure bring him back on a legends deal, Have him come out for the rumble. But the guy really can't work all that well anymore, so I wouldn't really want to see an in ring thing. Have him promote the brand do interviews do his podcast with WWE workers and tour with his band (Is Fozzy still a thing?)

So Will Ospreay is putting his career/life on the line this weekend by wrestling this weekend. I know it's his home country, but it's a bad call. Assuming the magnitude of Ospreay's neck injuries are true Tony shouldn't allow it. With how damaged and beat up most of AEW's stars are they'll all be retired, crippled, or in wheelchairs by their mid 40s. Wrestling with a damaged neck, is far different than working with a torn pectoral muscle. They just brought in Ospreay's wife as well... will he be travelling back and forth to spend time with her?

Edit: Swerve is also working through a torn meniscus... yikes.

Did you want to see someone get stabbed with a fork? I know that's why I watch wrestling. The fork stabbing.

Why does AEW love using kitchen utensils so much?

Yeah maybe I'm out of touch but that Abdullah the butcher level of gore in Wrestling never was interesting to me.

I'm still okay with hardcore matches and more like the attitude era level of physicality with weapons that existed in stuff like TLC or some of Mick Foley's WWF stuff.

But I will never understand the gore wresting and honestly think it does more to keep AEW niche than it does to help them grow.

There used to be a time and place for like a scarlet mask, and using utinsels, but it shouldn't ever be common, and Moxley does go to this stuff way to often.

In the old days of Stampede when Bruce was booking it was happening everynight, and Bruce bought in the old school bleeders like Abdullah and Mark Lewin and others, and they eventually burned out the territory as fans literally got sickened by the week after week blood fests and numbers declined.

If you want to blow off a major bad blood feud, you can look at it, but not to blow off every feud or start a feud.

Moxley has a really weird junk wrestling obsession.

Mox, Darby, and the Young Bucks all seem to love it.

Darby and the Young Bucks do tend to save it to blow off big fueds, where Mox would stab somebody with a fork every week if they let him I think.

Personally think it does nothing to help AEW. It's the stuff like that which will keep that brand as niche and not fully enter the mainstream.
