I don’t necessarily agree with it strategically, but it’s also tough to know what the Flames were ever offered and depending on the contract might be okay- but I’m a fan of the player myself.

Like @SuperMatt18 said, Andersson is a good #2 D. He isn't a superstar or "elite" but he is good and he definitely plays better with a stronger partner. (To be fair, I think most D play better with a better partner.)

What makes Andersson so valuable though is that he is a RHS D and there is a shortage of top 4 RD in the league. On top of that shortage of RD, most teams that have a good one locked up are not willing to move them.

That is where I think Andersson's value gets inflated beyond what an equivalent LD would get.

Tp was one CP/Twitter user who would take screen grabs of CP comments and post them on Twitter. Happened to me when I posted intel I had from my boss regarding Kadri signing.

I didn’t love it because there was a chance my boss could find it because I am dumb enough to have my actual first name as my username on here and my boss is a big hockey fan so if he is plugged into hockey twitter it was possible.

Is that person doing that or are they pretending to be an insider by copying the intel from Sec/Royle and take it as their own?

MUCH simpler situation, where it was the deadline, they wanted a 2nd, were being offered a 3rd. It's a simple, yes or no decision.

This is far more complex with the pieces being fluid and interchangeable. This isn't a yes/no trade, it's a negotiation.

That is really annoying. I for one really enjoy the info that Royle and Sec 214 post on the forum and unfortunately there is always someone who didn't get enough attention as a child trying to get likes on X by posting the information they provide.

I'm happy they do, but between the blowback from posters here along with this kind of stuff I have no idea why Royle and Sec 214 continue to post insider info here.

Let's hope @FierySharky quits being a tool and doesn't ruin it for everyone.

Just spitballing, totally Bingo’s call and I can’t speak for Sec but as stated above we’d post it on twitter ourselves if we wanted it there.

Not the end of the world, just might have to limit some of the finer details moving forward.

Bad news. Those posters are still members of the forum... so the membership-based private thread idea won't help with that.
