Something going down, on the river. 2 CFD rescue boat units putting in just before where the weir used to be, on the west side of Deerfoot, and a 3rd CFD water rescue support unit was headed NB on Deerfoot, past the situation below.
Honda Ridgeline on fire, SB Deerfoot, at the same time, just after the Calf Robe bridge. All the sirens and flashing lights today. Busy day for those guys.

Ran into someone I hadn’t seen in years. The reunion ended quickly as she is soooo MAGA it is sick. She went on a rant about how her husband came here legally, blah blah blah. That said it all for me. Goodie for him. He had money and her as a sponsor.

I know this is anecdotal and all but I had the weirdest encounter today. I had to quickly run some errands for various nonsense reasons, whatever, but I had to get gas and of course the pump was broken so I had to pay inside.
The guy behind me? Hands full of snacks and Mountain Dew and...
Just...MAGA Hat and a t-shirt of a Bald Eagle turning into Trump or some nonsense and he just grabs his nuts and lets out this huge disgusting belch and then a gigantic fart...
