Lacombe, Mintyukov and Zellwegger all fit the bill (pun intended).
Makes sense, would prefer Mintyukov or Lacombe over Zellwegger but out of the three I’m guessing the first to move would be Zellwegger.

Could see the Ducks looking at Zary, Sharky, Brz.
Back in town, actually took the kids to the dome the other day, trainers and coaches are already starting to make their way to town.

My source is away for a few days for a much needed vacay but did say that Calgary would be all in on McTavish if he’s available.

Sharky probably has a ton more value than people think being signed for multiple years at $5.75MM. That price is 3rd line money now almost.

Sharky + Brz + VGK 1st for McTavish?

Can’t see them trading Carlsson, but he would be even better than McTavish.

I could see Zary being someone Verbeek would value highly. For a skill player, he has a high compete and an edge (an anti-Zegras of sorts).

We did, never a bad day on the lake/beach.
First summer I can remember where it’s been 0% smoke the entire time.
We got lucky this year.

I would love to get Mintyukov out of that group, he has the tools to be a star. He's 6'1", skates well, fast hands, can play a physical game, and has the chops to be an offensive defenseman with a top-tier puck-moving game. He needs to clean up his play in the d-zone, but he would benefit greatly by playing under Huska IMO. Picked 10th-overall in 2022.

Not that we need defensemen...

Him and Zayne on our first pair for the next decade would be nuts. Minty has insane potential

I would consider something like a top 10 protected first, Zary, and a second for McTavish if the Flames feel he still has star potential. But our unprotected first, Parekh, and Wolf are off the table.

Flipped Kuzmenko into Frost and Farabee as well; Conny has been fantastic so far

But that’s not rebuilding, apparently.

We shouldn’t focus so much on what has happened. It is better instead to evaluate the GM exclusively on what didn’t happen but was rumoured to have been a possibility of happening, maybe.

And for all the things that may or may not have happened but also definitely didn’t happen, Conroy cannot be forgiven.
