Going 2-5 over the last 7 is not surprising with all the injuries. Hopefully they can string along a couple of wins over the next few days while everyone gets healthy.

I don't know what's in the water in Boston. But they've been the best team in baseball since the beginning of July. They have Rob Refsnyder leading off and playing DH FFS. It's like they're playing checkers when everyone else is play chess. Super annoying. I'm not so much worried about the Yanks anymore as they can't seem to get out of their own way. But the Red Sox are ridiculous. Reminds me of their team on '21 that eked out the Jays for the final wild card spot. Sold all their all stars. Had no business winning games. And found themselves in the playoffs. God I hate that team.

Kirk is back. Now just Jiminez to tighten up the defense and Garcia in the pen. Springer as well of course.
Need a series win today. A chance to get some confidence and consistency back tomorrow (or it's a trap series) vs the Rockies in Denver and then the Dodgers.

That was ball 4
Should be 1st and 2nd, 1 out
Instead it’s a double play

FFS. That ball was 3 inches outside. The ump with the assist on the strike em out throw em out double play. Can't wait for the challenge system.

I don't like the Jays chances in extras against these guys.

Sigh. Jays aren't playing very good ball at all right now.
Need to sweep the Rocks before the Dodgers and Cubs.

At least the Yankees are losing again. But the Red Sox are only 3 behind and they have the easiest remaining schedule of all the teams in the division. Jays need to get it turned around here pretty quick.

I guess it was the Blue Jays' turn for their newest aquisitions to blow them a lead.

Frustrating to lose a game after giving up only 4 hits in 9 innings. Would be enjoying this Yankees collapse so much more if the Jays kept winning and the Red Sox weren’t so hot.
The Jays are the Flames of the MLB. They do well when expectations are low and struggle when expectations are high. Also neither has won a championship since I was in elementary school.
