I'd probably want to be the Hidden Iman, described in italics below. Ideally, I'd appear in front of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who once said he was surrounded by a green glow while addressing the UN and might believe he can invoke the return of the the Hidden Iman by precipitating a global confrontation with the West.
I'd come back, surrounded by a green glow, hover over him and say: "Hey, it was all a joke. Quit being such an ass!!! Let's go find some babes, pick up some booze and get laid man!!! It's my first day back, whadja expect!!??"

His return will be preceded by cosmic chaos, war and bloodshed. After a cataclysmic confrontation with evil and darkness, the Mahdi will lead the world to an era of universal peace. This is similar to the Christian vision of the Apocalypse. Indeed, the Hidden Imam is expected to return in the company of Jesus.
