Trying to rationalize this type of logic is bat#### insane too. Both parties should be making lives better for Americans; imagine thinking that a corrupt, authoritarian regime is better than one of the two major parties.

To be fair we’ve kind of been winging it for a while. That describes most of the last 50+ years of the country. Some bright spots now and then, and Trump is a new/interesting level of terrible, but I feel like this era won’t look out of place in the history books.
