Speaking of Mamdani, he was getting a lot of heat last night on CNN for his previous position on defunding the police and for calling NYPD officers racists, anti-queer and a major threat to public safety. This is being brought to light again because of the killing of an officer in the most recent attack in New York. Cuomo, in his bid for Mayor, is also hitting Mamdani hard on his previous comments.

Because if there is an organization that is known for health and fitness it is WWF/E where the average lifespan for it's entertainers seems to be somewhere around 50 years old. These aren't healthy people nor does someone being fit provide them with any expertise in population health or physical activity.

Every day it feels like the United States falls further into a parody of itself. Linda McMahon heads the department of education and HHH is in charge of fitness? This feels like a bad plotline from 1990s wrestling.

I believe there are actually always US submarines in the "appropriate regions" in reality. Trump didn't order any sort of repositioning here and he's just posting that to look tough.

Ghislaine Maxwell,#Jeffrey Epstein's#co-conspirator and confidant, was moved to a minimum-security federal prison camp in Texas, prison officials said Friday.

Maxwell, who is serving a 20-year prison sentence for her role in recruiting and trafficking minors for sex, was being held at a low-security facility in Tallahassee, Florida, that housed men and women.

The camp in Bryan, Texas, houses only women. A majority of its inmates are serving time for nonviolent offenses and white-collar crimes.

The BOP did not specify why she was transferred.

But according to the bureau's designation policy, Maxwell appears ineligible to be housed at a minimum-security prison camp because she is a convicted sex offender.
"What we mostly have are illegal transport of aliens, drug offenses, white-collar crimes, to give you the best idea of the so-called security level," said one employee, who asked not to be named for fear of job reprisal. "If they have a history of a sex offense or violent crime, they are not supposed to be there."
