Remember the 04 Flames when it was wave after wave on the forecheck? Loved it

Pospisil reminds me of that but doing it consistently in the regular season

Loved it too but it comes at a cost in the regular season . Saving some gas for the playoffs is where it matters . Playing thst style for 100 games ( regular season and PO) is impossible.

This is where they made a mistake with Bennett. Popsicle cannot be allowed to be this player ALL the time . Hopefully, coaching staff encourages him to ease off the gas at times .

We need that intensity yes but it can't be to the detriment of the player . It amazes me still watching Bennett in the playoffs succeed to a level NO one imagined and he's healthy too.

I think Martin can do this too but it needs to be harnessed, utilizing it only when it matters . I just hope his GAF meter is contagious to other players on the team.

We have some feisty players man . I want to see and cannot wait to see certain players show this in the next few years .

I don't think Pospisil has near the ceiling that Bennett does and at $2.5M per he doesn't need to be anything close.

IMO Pospisil needs that intensity nearly all the time. Otherwise he isn't offering too much, he's an energy player.

He’s Ferland without the blistering shot and without having the density of a neutron star.

A little faster than Ferland though.

Much faster. Not that Ferland was slow, but Pospisil is one of the fastest players in the league.

Speaking of Ferland, he went from 25 points to 41 at about the age Pospisil is now.

Ferland had a better shot for sure and his hits I think were more punishing but I do think the comparables are valid.

Sure 25 to 41 points but he went from 15 to 21 goals. Ferland always have a good snipe on him. Something Pospisil doesn't
