Numero is back at it with more Husker Du content!

1) New Tunes
We're still banging through this treasure trove of Dü tapes and ephemera. A lot of brainstorming and I think we are getting closer to envisioning a proper physical project but still some more work to be done to unearth enough stuff to properly follow up Savage Young Dü. Here's where we are at: We've transferred and restored a bunch of tapes now and this show at Salt Lake City is a stand out show amongst the stand out shows. This never-before-heard soundboard recording survived in the group's archive and comes at the tail end of an almost 90 show run in 1985. We're releasing a section of the show featuring 5 future classics from yet-to-be released Candy Apple Grey heard for the first time by this feverish crowd.

Listen Now:
Nov 3: Salt Lake City
Jan 30: First Avenue, Minneapolis

2) 1985 Tour Shirt Update
We capped the orders at 1 week and ordered the exact amount from our printer. I'm glad we did that because if not, we would have severely underordered. Screen-printing is wrapping up this week and we'll get everything bagged and tagged, probably late next week, early week after. You will get a shipping notice from our site. Appreciate the patience and support!

3) PRE-ORDER: The 1985 Oar Folk Fire Shirt
Because the first shirt did so well and also because we got a ton of emails about people missing the cut-off window for ordering, we are releasing another era-appropriate limited T-shirt tribute. We're calling this one the "1985 Oar Folk Fire" shirt as a tribute to a very similar pinkish tie-dye with blue ink shirt only available at influential Minneapolis alternative record shop Oar Folkjokeopus. The shop was gutted in a fire during 1985 with any original stock of this shirt going up in flames. The 2025 version will be again made to order with pre-orders going for the next week and will be printed on Comfort Colors Colorblast as a nod to the original dye job.

I don't know who Jerskin Fendrix is, but he has done music for Yorgos Lanthimos and got him to direct a video starring Emma Stone.

At one time in the mid-80s there was a legitimate debate whether REM or Husker Du were the best band on the planet.

for good reason, IMO! one is in the Rock Hall (say what you will about such things I know) and the other faded into semi-obscurity- which is odd, their influence ranges pretty far, and their recorded output over about a 4 year period can be put up against anybody
