My guys, I said people can still enjoy outdoor activities in the rain and was called a contrarian weirdo. I mocked that insult and was told to shut the #### up and called the worst thing to ever happen to CalgaryPuck by a drunk lol.

Imagine what happens when I actually post something controversial. Yes, it does happen. Some of those posters I’m on good terms with now, some I’m not, but they hear from me plenty.

Appreciate the readiness to defend me from that stuff but I can handle my business. The mods also do a great job when I feel like I can’t. I’m not trying to look like a victim here, I’m fully aware I provoke reactions even with banal stuff and with that can’t always control the severity of that reaction. Doesn’t mean I’m not going to be me. I’m also hardly unique, I know there’s a not-small list of other posters who have been the targets of the same kinds of crazy.

You just have to laugh at as much of it as possible. Including any suggestion that I’m the worst person ever or that I get away with murder. I don’t even get away with being OK with the rain lol.

There is someone who was banned from here probably 3-5 years ago, and still tries to make new accounts with names attempting to mock me(you occasionally see them browsing threads). It has got to be one of the saddest, most pathetic displays of humanity I've seen on the internet. Just some loser, making endless accounts, for years, because they are mad at what I post.

Not saying you can't handle your business, don't worry. I just enjoy hating. Born hater. If there are extra things/people to hate I was just looking to add to my roster of things to hate, that's all.

Unhinged reactions are typically awesome, but when people start threatening IRL consequences then it gets more tense.

Not sure what it says about me that the people that seem to attract the most hate on here are typically my favourite posters. Go figure.

Ehhhhhhh... in fairness, there's 'mocking an insult' and... well, I think you got told to shut the f-ck up because you don't know when the joke has run its course and to give it a rest. (Or you do and do it anyway, which fair play, but still is going to earn a STFU from someone.)

In my defence, like any great comedian, I like to work and rework my material.

I only got a couple sentences of that joke in before I got told to can it. I need more time to refine! (I proceeded to completely beat the joke to death after that)
