Calgary’s best Italian joints are on Edmonton Trail?

Rea's Italian Cucina on Edmonton Trail and 41 Ave NE is unbelievable. Family run restaurant, large portions, great service. I've been going there for over 20 years. Very busy at lunch with a lot of regular customers, so I think that says a lot about the restaurant.

Yeah, I dont think the Vegan, gluten free Philly Cheese 'steak' with avocado and kale really has the same appeal to it.

No, no it does not.

I did learn that cream cheese is mighty tasty on a hot dog.

Oh sweet, time to line up for factory farmed chicken deep-fried and dumped in reheated sauce out of a plastic bag! Even better, the proceeds get funnelled back to the USA, our greatest friends who treat us so well.

Yep, I haven’t rocked up at an American fast food chain this calendar year, and I have no plans to start now.

Anyone else hear rumours that Zero Issue Brewing could be packing it in by September?

Their last change to Nemesis did it in for me. I could accept the first change in getting it under 7%; but taking away their core beer was a huge mistake.

This is our family's favorite too followed by Franka's.

TABLE 5!

Alumni Sandwiches has a Philly Cheesesteak as their feature right now. Worth a shot.

Their newish Mexican lager is quite nice (Fringe), perfect on warm summer days. I wonder if their location makes it tougher versus Barely Belt places?
