As with others, I really enjoyed Burgerquest. How many burgers a month were you eating at that time?

We ramped up to 2 reviews a week at one point. So minimum of 8 but probably double that in reality.

I love a good burger but yeah that's probably something not sustainable if you are concerned about long term health. I try to keep it to one a week myself which isn't always easy. Did you ever go to a place that was so bad you didn't to the review to spare trashing the place?

In our initial run we were pretty ruthless including a pretty scathing review against Inglewood Drive In where we got some backlash. I think our review was fair but we felt bad and went back a second time and it was just as bad. We didn’t think it would be good to roast them twice so we never posted the second one.
And it’s much better now than it was when we did that review
When we have talked about coming back one of our hesitations is we don’t feel good about tearing apart small businesses even when it’s deserved

I liked it a lot as well but would like branch outs to other things if health is an issue.
Pho reviews
Bun reviews
Sub reviews (non Viet)
Pizza reviews.
Chinese food reviews

Not a restaurant but Costco is bringing smoked meat sandwiches to the food court. Hopefully Schwartz’s since they sell it. Can I just live there please?

Perhaps it's been mentioned, but just a bit north (on 11th St) from the Costco by Deerfoot Meadows is the European Market. Which is great by itself. But, within, is a little coffee shop which serves all sorts of pastries and cakes and such which are delicious. They also do sandwiches for either $6.99 or $7.99. I am pretty sure it's one of the only non-Costco places in the city where you can get a lunch for under $10 (I never do, because I'm a pig and can't resist the other stuff, but it is possible). And it's deli quality.

It’s pretty good. Had some nice cabbage rolls, and they have a really good cheese selection there. It’s basically next door to Kensington Art Supply there.

How the hell did you miss the opportunity to use this line in the weather thread where people were talking about Cake in the rain.
