I'm twitching watching Noodles say there are no good movies anymore because of woke.
Again, I know most hockey players are reactionaries, but it's been wild to see Noodles the last few months wade into those waters when he didn't before. Wonder what changed?

On the other hand, the oldest, crustiest and whitest good ol boy in hockey, Brian Burke, is huge advocate for the LGBT community.

Doesn't he identify as Indigenous? I've seen him on lists of Indigenous hockey players as being Metis or mixed heritage, and I think he even mentioned it on Barn Burner before.

Well, not sure of the exact reason, but comedy has been #### for a long time now. Its not "woke" but it is less risk taking and way more safe.

I respect his take on fighting in thr league. He's been through it, it had its time and era, and it's time to put an end to it. Its best to hear it form a person who's actually played a major role in. With that said, I will miss it, sometimes.
