And some Star Trek fan has to have calculated how many shuttles they lose. Its gotta be an exorbitant number!

They just treat shuttles as totally expendable.

"Ah. Well. There goes the shuttle. Meh..."

They need to do an episode about shuttle scavengers and a Star Fleet shuttle recovery team racing to recover their tech.

That one shuttle scene was the funniest thing they’ve had in Trek in decades.

Again, it's nice to see writers and show runners who "get" Star Trek.

The feel remains very TOS - bunch of cowboys (cowfolks?) breaking the rules on the wild frontier, solving complex problems with a bit of punching, a bit of kissing, and the occasional drink.

Yeah baby.

I dont want to be terribly negative before its even out of the gates buuut....its lookin' a little too Disco for my liking...and STD sucked.

My first reaction was oh god no. I expect by halfway through Michael will become the head of Star Fleet Academy.


But even the trailer looked like a cringy Star Trek 90210, and yes for those that say Captain give it a chance. Its Alex Kurtzman the destroyer of worlds and galaxies.


The biggest positive is Holly Hunter who is good in everything she does.

Angel which is still one of my favorite shows had the episode where Angel was turned into a puppet by evil child devouring puppet demons and it was brilliant.
