Have you been talking about it? Have you started a thread on it? Have you discussed it anywhere except dropping that post like an edgy teenager

Wow, France announced they will finally recognize Palestine as an official state. About ####ing time. Welcome to the vast majority of the rest of the world.
Israel responded to this news saying it's a disgrace.

"Failure to prevent" is an interesting way of saying "intentionally caused"

All the most disgusting pro-genocide personalities are suddenly finding their voice to criticize Israel's forced starvation. Israel meanwhile is blaming the UN
This tells you how deplorable the situation is and that 10,000s are going to start dying each week from starvation. It's a Holocaust.

Death rate from starvation
July 20: 2 per day
July 25: 43 per day
Extrapolate that and see where it is by next week...

Has anything changed regarding food access? Or is Israel content to continue the same thing that is leading to mass starvation, and everyone else is just standing around saying "uh, ya, it's bad. Really bad."
There is zero need for this. Blocking food access is purportedly because Israel is afraid of weapons being smuggled. Being afraid doesn't permit you to starve people to death. The international community pussyfooting around Israel is pathetic. ####ing do something already.

A former US Army Special Forces officer revealed that he resigned from his role at the Israeli and US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) after witnessing the shelling of aid-seeking civilians in the besieged enclave.
Speaking to the BBC in an interview on Friday, Lieutenant-Colonel Anthony Aguilar said he had never seen such "brutality and use of indiscriminate and unnecessary force against a civilian population, an unarmed, starving population".
"I’ve never witnessed that in all the places I’ve been deployed to war, until I was in Gaza at the hands of the [Israeli forces] and US contractors," he said.
"Without question, I witnessed war crimes by the Israeli Defense Forces, without a doubt. Using artillery rounds, mortar rounds, firing tank rounds into unarmed civilians is a war crime."

Maybe sanctions? International arrests? Kick out ambassadors? Do, like, anything? Netanyahu is as bad a human as Putin.

The plan is the plan and that is the way it is for these conflicts in the middle east and Russia/Ukraine and many others.
I never used to be this cynical but I am just starting to see things more clearly than I used to. The level of killing in this Gaza War is something that is probably unthinkable as we don't see it to the degree that others on the ground are. There is no reason for this to continue except that this is what Israel wants and will get. It's clearly evident what is going on but we keep being fed nonsense by our leaders and useless organizations across the world.
The Russia/Ukraine war could be over tomorrow morning but it won't be. The plan is the plan and despite political change in all these countries, nothing has actually changed and it won't change. It doesn't matter if it's Trudeau, Carney or Pierre. Canada will do exactly the same garbage which is just be useless and pretend we matter on the global stage.
It doesn't matter who was US President Trump/Biden/ Biden/Harris and now Trump. The US policies for the above wars is effectively the same crap. It won't change. The plan is the plan.
Look at the Arab/Muslim world, where is the forceful change they could enact to wake up the west from what is happening to their fellow people who share similar faiths?? Crickets
We just need accept that we don't actually matter as citizens and we are just here to pay and shut up. It seems like every single week we have another conference or another meeting of world leaders where these issues are being discussed but literally nothing has changed. Nothing.
We just shut up and pay and the big shots play their games.

It feels that all of a sudden world leaders are waking up that there is a genocide crisis (let's call it for what it is, calling it a humanitarian crisis is purposedly downplaying what is happening) at the hands of Israel while under their watch that can no longer be outright ignored as it has, but won't take the steps to do something about it and didn't do anything to prevent it from happening.
Macron recognizes the Palestinian state? Thanks...I guess? Starmer and Trump saying Gazans are starving? ok?
Quote:
Asked by reporters in Scotland whether Israel should be doing more to allow food into Gaza, Trump said: “Well, you know, we gave $60 million two weeks ago and nobody even acknowledged it, for food. And it’s terrible. You know, you really at least want to have somebody say, ‘Thank you.’”

Frankly, I feel people are more outraged at having to see pictures and videos from Gaza of starving and dying children that have started pouring in, than they are at the systemic genocide. It was always going to end up like this by Israel design being emboldened by US support and now we are seeing the consequences. Will it be enough to actually act?
We get stuff like Coalition of the Willing when invading countries, where's the will here?

As long as Israel has the full and unwavering support of America, nothing will change. They will continue as is, because they need nothing else. Why care about public opinion around the world when the US politicians will carry their water and the billions in aid and funding will continue?
With that, Israel has nothing to lose. Who cares if a few countries around the world write some “strongly” worded condemnations? Why would that change their behaviour when they have so much to gain by eradicating the Palestinians?
I agree with curves here - it’s awful and hopeless to know that we are literally useless to stop this. There are only a handful of people in the US that have the power to stop this, and they have a vested interest in Israel’s success, so what can anyone do?

Will be interesting to see what happens internally in Israel. If the govenrment has been found to have committed genocide, seems there should maybe some sort of criminal punishment for that, no?

Again, you have high ranking Israeli government officials literally calling for genocide openly in interviews with no real backlash.
https://youtube.com/shorts/y9-ACGCC3...yFMZu6oNNRjoEY
So I’m not sure it’s reasonable to think anything will happen to this government, internally or externally.

1. Kill lots
2. Force international community to take many by making conditions as deplorable as possible - no food, no water, no shelter
3. Put the rest in a concentration camp
4. Settle Israelis in Gaza
The plan.
