Yeah this is a problem for sure but I do believe that once Trump is out of the picture the Republicans will fracture. MAGA's are gonna MAGA but they aren't the reason he's president as a lot of people that voted for Trump voted for "Trump" and not necessarily the Republicans as unexplainable as it is, a lot of Americans think (or thought when they voted) he has the best interests of the country in mind and he's going to bring back jobs, etc.

An anti-semitic commie! Josh Shapiro came out and criticized Mamdani for not calling out other people's statements towards, probably Israel, because currently criticism of Israel is considered anti-semitic.

Im convinced this subservience to Israel is largely due to them being the strongest ally in the region to combat the influence of the big bad Russian bear. But Putin must be laughing himself to sleep every night because the Israel issue is fracturing the left more so than he ever could have hoped for.

Much like Sandy Hook showed that killing kids wasn't wasn't the line in the sand for gun control. Genocide isn't a line in the sand for western countries to make a stand against Israel.

Subservience to Israel primarily has to do with making sure Jerusalem remains out of Muslim hands so that when the Adventists trigger the apocalypse Jesus has a safe place to return. A lot of the American Christians who support Israel are anti-Semitic, they just hate Muslims more.

The 'west' is basically following the US and the US has always had a strong jewish lobby, the Democrats in particular, the GOP is also beholden to Israel because of its fundy christian base since Reagan and because Israel was the wests proxy in the war against communism in the middle east that morphed into the war against Islamic extremism, the other problem for politicians is there's no good answer, if you come out against Israel then at some point in time you have to explain why you support Hamas as they beat some poor woman to death or throw a gay kid of a crane or something, the voters are by nature binary, you either support Hamas or Israel, there is no nuance in the policical process
