Found out that the Air Conditioner at my rental house has leaks in both the Interior and Exterior coils...would cost more to fix than to replace it. Not even 12 years old and it's essentially trash. The 35 year old Kenmore one at my parents old house that's in Kamloops where those things work...yeah, it's still going. So much new stuff is so poorly made.

It was a Lennox unit model C33-36B-2F-6.

When the tech said it's cheaper to replace it...and his company sells only that brand I told I'll never consider that manufacturer again he was like....yeah I guess so.

Also Sammy's Sports bar at Elbow River Casino on tuesdays. I would always purposely buy Flames' tickets for Tuesdays so I could get the prime rib dinner to go along with parking before hitting up the game. It was pretty cheap too, around $20 or something. Been a few years but hopefully that deal is still around.

Have the same issue with ours (3 years old). Had the installer out for its yearly service and he said this is normal after a couple years of “breaking in”? Not sure I believe them, but the google has similar comments.

When someone confides in you regarding something bad/sensitive about someone you know (I hate gossip - don't make me look at people I know differently), begs you to keep it quiet, and then goes and tells the other person that they told me anyway, but doesn't tell me that.

I didn't even want the gossip in the first place, hate that stuff. And now you made me look like a liar because I've talked to them since you told me and played dumb at your request about news I didn't even want to know. What is wrong with people anyway...

one thing i have learned over the years is that some people just have to constantly have some kind of 'drama' in their life - i don't understand it, but it just seems to be the way some folks are wired.

i think the best thing you can do is just be honest with the other person and explain that the first person specifically asked you to keep quiet about the stuff and you were just respecting their wishes

i, like you, do not enjoy being 'privy' to gossip, mostly becuz i just don't care. i've got enough stuff going on that i don't have the time or energy to get dragged into that crap!

Good call, yes people just thoroughly bore me; at restaurants I always offer the other person the "people-watching" view spot, because I just don't care but I know most people like that stuff. Unless someone is quite attractive or VERY messed up looking, I could care less about their existence as they stroll by me.

And yes that's exactly what I did - apologized and said they swore me to secrecy. They understood, but I still felt embarrassed. Yeah I'll never get the need for drama some people have..save it for your mama.

This is actually very true.

I lost an old friend over something like this, he got together with this woman and...I dont know if you've ever experienced a relationship like this or just known of one?

But...its one extreme or another. They love each other fiercely, with unbridled passion...but they seem like they absolutely HATE each other. Spending 3 minutes with them together is like trying to navigate between No Man's Land in WW2 or something, its just a war-zone.

Its nothing but fighting and insults and the whole thing is exhausting and it has nothing to do with me.

I dont know how people like that do it.
