Apparently the Tesla superchargers have been moved out of the Cross Iron Mills parking lot over the lease renewal, Cross Iron wanted a share of the revenues and Tesla said no

Dave’s Hot Chicken is being built on Macleod in Willow Park where the Earls used to be along side a Japanese grill

Calgary certainly needs an 8000th fried chicken place, that's for sure.

I keep thinking the same thing, but all these chicken, burger, pastry, cafe places seem to be busy.

And still not one place that offers a decent Philly cheese steak.

And there's no reason for it. There isn't some magical ingredient or recipe.
We know how to make these things. Someone just do it.
There used to be a pretty good one in Market Mall years ago.

I'm not sure there's enough Calgarians that know what Philly Cheesesteak is.

With the cost of beef these days, they’d probably run over $20 each.

Since it would be more of an occasional meal, if it's done well, I'd pay $20 for a good cheesesteak. Especially considering how regular fast-food is pretty much approaching that anyway.
It doesn't even have to be a perfect Philly replica. Just like 75-80% of the way there is good enough at this stage.

Good to hear...but I'm old, I don't have patience to seek out occasional/secret menus.

Not a philly cheesesteak, but if you you’re lucky the Calgary Italian Bakery has a hot beef cheddar special that is insanely delicious. It’s like what Arby’s wishes it could be.
