The top centre position is the #1 need but that doesn't mean that you don't look to improve your team elsewhere.

I agree, but when Andersson is the #1 trade chip, I'd rather see that used to address the #1 need if there's any possible way of doing it.

I don't understand the ban either.

**If** he got banned for personal attacks, I applaud it. There's too much of that on here recently and this place is supposed to be fun.

But, If that is indeed the reason, then I'd hope the mods step up and give the same punishment to other posters who also have a history of and continue to attack others that don't agree with every single thing they say.

Clearly it's not that because there's an antagonistic poster or two here that do that nearly on a daily basis and never get banned even temporarily.

Keep in mind that if someone did something to warrant a lifetime suspension, the posts that led to the suspension are usually deleted and won't appear in their post history.

Also, in the past, people have been banned for things they've sent in Private Messages to other posters.

Interesting. I don’t think Murphy is any kind of insider so his comments mean as little as Kypreos who is more connected but also not a Friedman or Serivali type.

Kadri makes a lot of sense for the Habs but that is only if they think they can launch into contender status immediately. I am sure they prefer to get someone 7-10 years younger for that role but hard to find.

Not sure why the Flames need to create a marketplace as they do not need to trade Kadri and in a year they have way more say on the deal as the NMC shifts to a 13 team no trade list.

Flames trying to create the marketplace makes it sound like they are actively shopping him which is something we haven't heard from the local forum insiders. Not sure if there's much there but speculation.

If people are getting banned for difference of opinion, there are a handful of contrarians who would have been banned long ago.
