I'm on a very high protein diet right now and I dont mind the taste of the raw eggs, so it works out well for me.

I've been debating this because I'm usually lazy about eating, especially in the morning and every now and then for the last five years, I've been downing 1 or 2 raw eggs in the morning like a shot for breakfast. I'm also chronically thin so I've been trying to gain weight or workout for awhile.

But now I'm in Montreal for about a month and I've continued doing the same because I'm in the residence at UMontreal for the explore french bursary program and I really have no way of cooking whatsoever...so my raw egg eating continued but I'm really worried about actually getting extremely sick away from home so I decided to stop doing it.

I went to Value Village here in Montreal and bought a coffeemaker for $7.99. Tonight, I put in soup mix, bacon, and 2 eggs and made sort of an egg-drop soup in the coffee maker. Wasn't half bad. Sick? Insane? Macgyver-esque creativity?

My oldman is in his 70s and has eaten a raw egg everyday for most of his life and continues to do it to this day. I dont believe hes ever gotten sick from it.

Youre way more likely to get sick from hamburger meat yet everyone continues to eat hamburger.
