Punisher. John Wick. Buddy Cop film.

Make. It. Happen.

Just got out of Superman and I enjoyed it. I really like the world it set up and the other characters like Mr. Terrific and GL. To me it seems like Gunn is less interested in Superman and more on lesser known characters. I will say I much prefer Snyder's take on Superman and the universe he set up. But I realize it's never coming back so I hope this universe takes off. My biggest complaint is
Spoiler!

I really like James Gunn movies. He does such a good job at managing power levels and making the shows about characters rather than fights.

Superman is worth seeing.

Saw Superman today and really enjoyed it. Fun, enjoyable, some solid themes, felt like a good old superhero story. Accusations of "wokeness" are IMO really overblown, this was fairly tame for a Gunn movie in that department. Generally, not a deep movie a good kind of 3/5.

I haven't seen this extreme level of nonsense with "science", physics and just basic logic at some points, the wtflol was just off the charts. It was so extreme that I think it had to be a somewhat deliberate stylistic choice?

In any case, Gunn delivers as expected. The guy gets it.

I really enjoyed Superman too. It doesn't take itself as seriously as the Snyderverse movies, just good entertainment with positive messages.

After the success of Superman, it appears WB is fast tracking a Wonder Woman movie and are extremely happy with The Batman 2 script, which has FINALLY been finished. Hopefully they cast someone with the same screen presence as Gal Gadot, she was the perfect WW.

Gal Gadot looks great. Gal Gadot has the on screen charisma of a sponge.

WW84 could've ended Gadot's career. Instead, we were blessed with her stunning performances in Red Notice, Death on the Nile, and Snow White. Truly, the Meryl Streep of our time.

Went to see Superman yesterday. It was ok. My first superhero movie that wasn't Batman since Guardians 2.

It was good but still wayyyy too much CG. I think this will be my last superhero movie in theatres for a while. Batman is the best superhero. and take all my money if they are going to do the Dark Knight Returns with Batfleck!

oh and i saw the New Fantastic Four for the 1st time in the trailers. holy kyit does that look terrible! hahaha. and i love Julia Garner but come on.....

I watched Nolan's Batman trilogy this week. It struck me as odd that WB never ran with Joseph Gordon-Levitt into a Nightwing movie, with or without Nolan's blessing

I think there is also an element of...without Nolan's blessing, JGL wouldnt do it.

Look how many more Nolan films he's been in.

Plus WB originally really wanted Man of Steel to take place in the Nolanverse. That's partially why we as an EP on MoS. But when he and Bale wouldn't come pack, we got the DCEU.
