This week, the race kicks off in the same place last year's race ended, Commonwealth Stadium. So far, the teams I expected to be the most annoying were.

The Oilers superfans left their bags at the stadium, so they will have to run the rest of the race in their dirty underwear...No matter how long they're in the race, they still won't smell worse than their hometown.

Again it might come of as massively offensive but gay guys are always money on this show. They're always worldly superfans that study and gameplan for Amazing Race. I would always bet the house on them when it comes to navigation and anything that requires coordination. I should have pushed my Dad to try out for the show 20 years ago!

I haven't seen every season, not sure how having ID is the deciding factor in crossing the finish line. Oh well, at least one of my teams squeaked in!

They need to be able to board airplanes.

On the US version, teams have lost their passports and had to drop out of the race because they couldn't get on the next flight (they were able to get an emergency replacement, but not in time to stay on the race).

Since the Canadian version doesn't leave Canada, they only need to have their photo ID to get on planes.

I considered EB and Blake with my first pick and was so close to getting them with my second.

It's all on you now, Brendan and Sam! Haha...

Overall a pretty good leg. Any team choosing pottery though had a big disadvantage. Not a fan of watching racers try to dance over and over, but at least they skipped most of the attemptt.

What has made the US version birding on unwatchable in the last couple seasons is the 90 minute episodes. Nobody needs that kind of extra footage of nothing happening. I enjoyed the episode, but it is my summer go TV

And it really gives me some summer plan ideas - I never knew Red Deer had that outdoor roller coaster. That's a really neat thing to have.

Yup, the last few seasons of the American one, I record and fast forward through most of it. Once my teams are eliminated, I give up watching. Despite not leaving the country, the Canadian one has seemed more exciting so far.

Mayday! Mayday! Mayday! -- This week, the teams travel to Lake Louise and Golden. Osas & Esosa got lost, going the wrong way out of Lake Louise, but Brendan & Sam struggled to find Papa Smurf and then chose the wrong side of the Detour, so they're going home.

Also, Skylene & Blair are now being called Nipîy & Magoo in the on-screen graphics, so I'll change their listing here too.

Holy crap, I chose these guys first overall, mainly because they are from Calgary, but jeez. Going to Banff instead of Jasper then getting lost again. They are from this area and cannot get around. I worry when they are on the other side of the country if they make it that far
