Interestingly enough, in Robertson's 109-point season in 2022-23, he led the Dallas Stars in scoring by an incredible 31 points (Benn was second in scoring, with 78 points).
The following season, in 2023-24, he slipped to 80 points in 82 games, but still led the team in scoring by 13 (Pavelski was second, with 67 points).

If its Robertson coming back, that is a fantastic return. If that is the case, I hope Conroy will have the Huberdeau situation in the back of his mind. Wait and see how he fits into the team before signing him to a huge contract and committing to him long term. If the fit isn't there then trade him for more assets.

I suspect a 1st (maybe the Vegas 1st) would have to go with that but could be wrong. The Stars do t have such for young forwards coming up outside of what is in their current lineup.

Haha. Good to have some fun with the GIFs. People get in a pretty funny tailspin though over what the returns will be. I trust what Conroy is doing but we are going to be pretty sad if we are thinking Robertson or Bischel+ as the return. For the record I am very happy to be pleasantly wrong!
