Another asset form the Lindholm trade is gone. Too bad things didn't work out for him here.

More room for the farm team
Thanks for being part of the Lindholm trade!

I always get irrationally angry at Friedman and his abbreviations.

A second year in the E wasn't very appealing.

Guess we free up a contract spot, but Puckpedia currently shows we're only at 40 contracts of the 50 limit, so that doesn't really matter.

Hard to blame him. He is 23 and given the depth on the farm for defense, there is very unlikely to be an NHL or even AHL path here.

I thought there was some optimism around him as part of the return. Didn’t the flames sign him to his ELC?

I was going to pick him at 9; this completely upends my list!

Too bad. I once thought of him as a fairly decent prospect.

That's too bad.
The dude is a 6-5 LD, and should be a developed version of guys we recently drafted (Jamieson, Hurtig, Philips).
The org qualified Poirier and cut Jurmo loose. Can't keep all of Jurmo/Poirier/Morin/Solovyov/Kuznetsov on the Wranglers (even assuming one of them is a 7D in the NHL this year).

Jurmo has the size and skating ability to play, but just either couldn't put it together or couldn't get the opportunity. I am sure he will have a long career playing in The Liiga, which isn't anything to look down on.
It was a good gamble on tools, much like Miromanov and sometimes it doesn't work out.

With the loss of Jurmo and Ignatjew can we officially say that this organization has no FINish? Or is there another player/prospect from Finland in the organization?

Gridin and Brz alone make the trade a slam dunk. The rest is just fat and sprinkles.
Alvin got robbed of his nuts then bent over by Conman.
