Season 4 of the Bear was really good. I always found Syd to be annoying but this season something was different and I really enjoyed her character. Loved the episode with her and her little cousin.

Without going back through all 296 (for me) pages, has Hacks been brought up? My wife and I tore through all 4 seasons of that show. Great show, great comedy.

It has been and pretty much everyone, including myself, agrees with you. It’s funny.
Wife and I have been watching His Dark Materials on HBO/Crave. Really enjoying it! She read all the books, and wanted to introduce me to the story via the TV show. Definitely a bit heavy at times, but a great watch.
Hacks is quite funny, I have some flying coming up this week and will start season 4.
My one complaint is that the main narrative gets a little repetitive. I hope that gets rectified a bit this season.
I'm also still working my way through Larry Sanders. Man that was a great show.
Hacks uses the same story structure that Entourage, Silicon Valley, and a bunch of HBO comedies use. The protagonist struggles to succeed and every time they get a little success they immediately face an obstacle (often caused by their hubris) that causes them to slide back a bit.
Battlestar Galactica the 1978 series is on Prime, its worth a watch for old Sci Fi junkies. A really well done series for the first half of its only real season, but the second half layered on the cheese.
They won't dare put up Galactica 1980 though.

I found 1980 on Pluto or something. They land on Earth in 1980 and the episode I watched had some kids use magic sci-fi powers to make crops grow. Horrible.
