This man has been on council before, he should understand what this entails. Municipalities are legally unable to run a deficit, it's part of the Municipal Government Act. So any freezes to taxes are going to come at the expense of capital budgets, operating budgets, reserve funds, or increased debt load.

If you vote for him, you're a fool who doesn't give a #### about Calgary.

The name of the party should be a dead giveaway.

Anytime a politician uses 'common sense' as a way to describe what their approach will be, I find it's generally because they're too stupid to understand anything

Totally. That's a dead giveaway they can't think about anything more complex than an adjustable wrench. Unfortunately voters engauge with that simplicity, because they are all nuts.
