Red Sox are winners of 9 in a row. Might be better suited to have the Rays beat them.

Jays looking like they did earlier this season. No offence.

Looks like they are heading to a series loss here, that really sucks.

What also sucks is this field, what an embarrassment that the mlb has 2 teams playing in minor league stadiums like this.

Losing 3 of 4 after the win streak ended is not ideal. And the 10 games after the AS break are against good opponents. Jays could be out of a playoff spot a couple of weeks from now if they don't get back to playing their best baseball.

A lot will get determined in those 10 games.

That might be one of the most fun 90 seconds or so I’ve seen in a long time.

Well if you’d have told me they’d have a 2 game division lead at the all star break at any point before the Yankees series I’d have taken that big time.

Losing 3 out of the last 4 to two of the worst teams in the league not a great way to go into the all star break.

Yeah, but that's sports sometimes.

Pretty remarkable that they are in 1st place given where they were in early May, and with how the last two seasons had also gone.

Hopefully they add some nice pieces at the TDL and bolster the team for a strong finish. It'd be so nice to finish top 2 in the AL and get a bye past the wild card games.

The MLB draft started today, the jays had the 8th overall pick and took a high school SS named Jojo Parker.

Scouting Report
Joseph 'JoJo' Parker is a left-handed hitting prep infielder out of Mississippi who lit up the summer showcase circuit and has steadily moved up boards this spring. It's a big league type frame at 6'2, 200 pounds. Parker starts with a narrow base and has a smooth quiet load as he strides into his swing. It's a good looking operation from the left side of the plate and Parker has shown a refined hit tool to go with some emerging power.

While his other tools are mostly average. He'll have a chance to stick at shortstop in the short to medium term, but might end up moving to another position on the dirt. Even if he moves off shortstop, this is a profile that has rocketed up draft boards due to the level of confidence and polish present in his hit tool. There aren't many strong hit/power prep profiles in this class, at least not with the level of certainty most evaluators seem to assign to Parker. His name has been mentioned as high as the top five as of this report. Joseph's twin brother Jacob will also likely be a top 100 profile in this class.
The Jays next pick is in the 3rd round 81st overall and maybe they'll take Jojo's twin brother there.

From outta nowhere, the Sox have won 10 straight. The division is no longer a 2 horse race.

No better time for the ASB.

Jays need to regroup.

Yeah, I don't see this lasting from the Jays, but I'll cheering hard when they start up again.

No better time? A better time would have been after going into it strong, like before the last 4 games.
