It always amazes and saddens me when people take ‘This person disagrees with me’ and ‘This person is stupid’ as equivalent statements.

It seems to me that Dino is quite intelligent, but over-optimistic. He can usually base his opinions on facts and evidence and show his work, so he's not dumb; just temperamentally biased.

Paulie is also intelligent, but cynical, and while he can argue rationally, sometimes he engages the keyboard without putting the brain in gear. I find that less easy to put up with.

Is there a big chasm between “this person is stupid” and “he engages the keyboard without putting the brain in gear” or did you think that adding more words would make it sound more eloquent and less obnoxious?

I’m not even going to touch your odd definition of “temperamental bias” because that’s not what that means but I think it’s fun you think it works in that context.

Draft vs Trade
Tank for 16.5% at 1st OA or bet the odds

It's very hard to see both sides when your locked into 1 most favored outcome.
Some can do it, but there's a very fine line on here and its easy to see those who will die protecting their claim to building the Flames their own way.

I just dislike the personal insults and attacks, everyone is tough behind a keyboard.

If someone has a different opinion than you, there is no reason to take it personally. I also wish that accusing users of multiple accounts or a second account would be a bannable offense.

At least once every couple days I am seeing someone refer to me as Paulie or someone else, accusing me of a duplicate account. Getting registered on to this site requires you to basically give your 1st born child with the amount of information they ask for. So it is pretty easy to check and see that I do NOT have multiple accounts. Please stop these crazy accusations.

Isn't it 25.5% if you finish last? It's a small difference, but 1 in 4 seems a lot more realistic than 1 in 6.

The reason people are frustrated is because the Flames have largely been doing the same thing in the past, and getting average to bad results. This version of a retool doesn't seem different enough, so it's hard to expect different results.
