I’m not worried; Ghandi was nominated five times and was never awarded; one candidate was nominated 41 times, all denied.

The fact Ghandi was nominated 5 times isn't great either. Read up on his feelings about race, particularly about Africans. Or how when he was in his 70s he would sleep naked with teenaged relatives to test his sexual willpower. It's super gross, not to mention child abuse.
The award or even being nominated for it is meaningless, especially considering that Henry Kissinger of all people won it.

I imagine there are a lot of people down there who aren't too happy about America's descent into full-blown fascism under Trump. This kind of stuff will only get worse from here on out.

An interesting video. The short of it is that trump drew in voters who fear lose of social status. I hate status and hierarchy so I struggle to not look even sympathize let alone empathize with these people
