8 in a row is nuts!
Series against the White Sox and Athletics coming up. I think you focus on winning both those series and you go into the break at 56-40. Anything more than that is just gravy. Fun times.

Jays could end up with a handful of all-stars.
Vladdy already booked. Springer and Kirk should get picked.
Barger? Clement?

Kirk should be a lock to make the ASG. Springer likely. Barger & Clement will be longshots.

Jays with 8 game win streak and and White Sox and A’s next. Wonder if we could really hit mid double digits here. Probably asking for a lot, but series wins is what I’d really want.

Jays just recently lost 2 of 3 to the White Sox, and that was at home.
Hoping for at least 3-3 in the final 6 games before the AS break, 4-2 would be great and anything better would be unreal.
Was good to see Burr back for the first time this year and just missing bats like that.
When Yimi comes back the pen is just nuts. Especially since Green has looked better of late and Hoffman hasn't imploded in a while either.

Springer doesn't make the all star team. He deserved to be there but no need to make a big deal out of it. He deserves some much needed time off

Yeah it would have been cool to see him there as part of his good guy redemption arc. From cheating scandal to subpar play to all star would be great for an all around good dude.
But it's probably for the best so he can rest up. Knowing his/Jays luck he would hurt himself shagging fly balls at the all Star game.

not sure what this team is yet, but they've built a nice cushion. even (an obviously disappointing) .500 the rest of the way would be 88 wins

Lots of decent OF around the league, a tough ASG position to crack, even with 3 positions.

I looked it up - the universal ground rules document specifically says that protective netting adjacent to the field of play is in play. It's like if the ball hit the backstop.
If the ball went into the seats or became wedged then it would be out of play, but a ball that hits the net is still in play.

Robertson will get traded imo with year in minors... dfa helps him. Gives him a chance if nobody pays in trade someone will claim. Good for team morale
Alot of hitters seem to credit popkins with turnaround
What exactly was Martinez teaching these guys that went so wrong. I guess everyone is still finding their way... lots of newer players but wtf did he do to springer who is a seasoned vet. Mind control lol

What this team needs is a true ace. Would be pretty sweet if they could land a guy like DeGrom. I think him and Sherzer are buds

Lol CB Buckner gives one to Berrios. That ball nearly hit the ground.

Now that Angel has retired. CB Bucknor has to be the worst of the worst.
