Default Ozzy and Black Sabbath's final concert, July 5

Here's how to buy an online ticket.

Not my cup of tea per SE, but you cannot deny that lineup and star power.

Oh if only I had the time to sit down and watch that. That's a pretty legendary lineup, even if some of them are well past their best before date (looking at you Axl).

Feels like an elegy for Birmingham and the Black Coutnry, which used to be one of the great urban centers of the West, and is now a giant immigrant haven (it is now 1/3 Muslim) with an entirely service based economy.

As much as I'd like to watch my favorite bands rock out, these summer weekends are precious, so I'll find a recording of 'Brummiefest" later.

Just casually spreading racism in the most obscure corners of the internet.

You'd think with how precious those weekends are claimed to be you'd find something more interesting to do than demonstrate your firmly established stupidity on a sub forum of a hockey message board.

I've watched a few of the youtube clips, and most of them have been great.

And yea, I'd say it's just about time for Axl to hang it up. The band still sounds great, but Axl's voice has really lost a step. As much as I admire him for having the physical stamina to still get out and there and tour the world at his age, the poor guy sounds out of breath a lot of the time. And that badass raspy snarl we all loved back in the day is all but gone. He sounds good when he stays in his lower register, but when he tries to hit those high notes...yikes.

They've had a LOT of practice!

I saw a recent live Ozzy recording. For 76 years old his voice is still pretty solid. Does he sit in that chair for the entire setlist?

Yeah, he does. Even in the backstage clips he’s sitting down. He does sound pretty good but his body is in rough shape.

I saw a couple of high quality rips of some of the sets, I assume they will get swatted as they are found but it looked like an awesome day- Hoping to find a good quality of the show down the road

I was just wondering about that today, has anyone read anything concrete or official about a BluRay release?

Can’t even walk anymore. I was pleasantly surprised at how good he sounded this weekend.
