Or, they all knew just like everyone else and simply decided to overlook it. I mean sure, that’s seemingly ridiculous, but it’s pretty obviously the case.
Yeah its a really bad look for them.. but for me the bigger question is how does he get charged immediately after his arsenal contract ends? Such a bad look for the met to sit on that for so many years and only act now from an optics perspective - were he or arsenal threatening to counter sue or something?
Presumably arsenal thought they could get away with it because the charges hadn't been laid but even ethics aside given the size of their women's team support strategically you have to question what they were thinking. would be supremely pissed off if that were ny club
The timing is too curious to feel coincidental and yes, the overall situation looks very bad on Arsenal. Seeing multiple women come forward, this looks much worse than what I thought was just between him and one ex.
In better Arsenal news, Fabrizio Romano reporting that Gyokeres deal is almost done.
So Madueke to Arsenal for £50 million mostly makes me curious about whether Arteta might be leveraged by Chelsea and is being extorted to pay these comical fees for Chelsea scraps.

I suppose I would be remiss to not post a wild 24 hours for Tottenham. First we bought Mohammed Kudus from West Ham. Apparently West Ham needed to come up with £40m in short order and Spurs were there to help them out. (I find that hard to believe though, because the payments are usually spread out). Regardless, Spammers are livid and I’m not sure if I’m more excited about Kudus the player coming into our team or the fact that their fans hate this so much!
Then yesterday, out of nowhere, we triggered the £60m release clause for Morgan Gibbs-White from Forest. Huge move for us, and suddenly we’re ambitious! Forest fans are fuming, in part because they sold Elanga to Newcastle already and now lose MGW as well. This happened very fast, with no ITK or anything. Just suddenly we shelled out the cash and had a new player. I’m not sure what’s gotten into Daniel Levy, but maybe he just enjoyed winning a trophy for a change?
Regardless, huge signings for Spurs and now we just need to add a DM and I think we have something here.

We will be in London the opening EPL weekend. Only London area team at home is the Spurs. Obviously we'd like to go, but tickets for a casual/foreign fan seem sort of impossible. Apparently you buy a membership and then go on a list for a ticket? I don't mind spending some $ on this but don't want to buy a membership and then end up not being able to get tickets, and there's only 1 game that works for us.
Any legit resale options or other suggestions appreciated!

OK, so getting these tickets can be tough. Spurs will sell out, and things are only done electronically. I can ask a few people I know and see if there are any around, but how many are you looking for?
Spurs have had the best off-season of all the Premier League teams. Kudus is a brilliant player. Obviously Mathys Tel is a big get but they beat out a ton of other Premier League teams to sign Mason Melia, who is one of the best seventeen year olds I've ever seen play. Hopefully he can develop into a top class striker, he's got all the tools.

I need four (2 adults/2 kids) which doesn't help the situation. I'm not married to face value here or anything, but it doesn't really seem like that's a choice.

They did that deal in the January window, and he will join in January 2026 (for Melia). They have to wait for him to be 18.

Yeah, four is tough and you might looking at Stubhub for those. It’s not going to be cheap! That said, the stadium is really impressive, and opening day against Burnley should be good for the home team, who will also be celebrating their Europa League win.

I have zero concerns paying stubhub pricing, that isn't an issue.
But it seems there are lots of comments that secondary ticket sales are illegal and you'll be turned away. I'd prefer not pay stubhub pricing and not get in.
Some Oasis fans weren't quite "mad fer it" when the band dedicated a song to Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola at their homecoming concert in Manchester.
A smattering of boos followed Liam Gallagher dedicating 'D'You Know What I Mean?' to who he called "the greatest manager of all time, the one and only Pep Guardiola," --- who was in attendance.
Oasis dedicated the song to Guardiola on Friday night at Heaton Park during the band's first concert in Manchester in 16 years as part of its reunion tour.
Noel Gallagher then asked: "Who you f---ing booing?"

Yeah all of the reselling is illegal there, and you would have to buy a membership to get tickets through that avenue. I think that’s the One Hotspur membership and it’s about £50 if I recall. It’s possible, but I also don’t know how easy it’ll be to find 4 seats together.
Sources have told ESPN that the deal will be worth up to £1 billion ($1.3bn), in the form of £100 million per-year which is a marked increase from their previous agreement of £65m a year, signed in 2019.
The deal is set to break the record for kit manufacturer agreements for English clubs, trumping Manchester United's 10-year £900m deal with adidas signed in 2023.https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/...alexander-isak
Gotta pad those books...
