NBA MVP#Shai Gilgeous-Alexander#has agreed to a four-year, $285 million super maximum contract extension with the champion#Oklahoma City Thunder#through the 2030-31 season, sources told ESPN on Tuesday.

This is now the richest annual salary for a player in league history.

Small move, but I'm really happy with the Raptors signing Mamukaleshvili. I've been a big fan of him since watching him a bit in his draft year, and he's really a perfect skillset complement to CMB in terms of their strengths and weaknesses. It's going to be rough if Poeltl misses time and he needs to step up to be a starter, but as a bench big, I think he'll be a fan favorite. Won't move the needle a lot, but a couple times a year he'll have a night where he just looks unstoppable.
