Ugh, can you imagine actually voting for those NDP clowns after all of that.

Oh I didn't forget.
But that was Jason Kenney.

I was doing JUST Danielle Smith! That way no one could say "Yeah that wasn't Danielle Smith. This UCP is way different than the last UCP"
You add in the rest of the UCP shenanigans, and it certainly doesn't paint a rosier picture.

They are a band of misfits to be sure, but Keystone XL isn't entirely dead money yet. Although nothing Trump says is to be believed, so you may ultimately be correct.

Our tax dollars are gone. No wishful thinking about a deal with the most unreliable deal maker in history is going to make that $1.3 billion available for hospitals or schools, or vaccines, or roads, or transit.

This is what happens when you vote for these people. *poof* ####ing gone.

Yes it is.
There is no world world where any company in Canada is going to put the money up to build KXL.

Trump's word isn't worth a thing.
No company is going to put the money up to even look at this project because you can be certain one of the following will happen:

1) Trump flips and the line isn't approved
2) It takes too long to get started and approvals get cancelled....again
3) Trump goes nuts on tariffs again, and no producer in Canada is keen to sign up for more export to the US right now

It's dead dead dead!

The only shocking thing is that he waited this long to bring it up after the resounding success Ford has achieved. Presumably so he can make it an election issue for an election they aren't really supposed to meddle in. But it's good red meat for the base, something to rally around. Nothing a Conservatives like more than taking something good from people.

"Are clogging up our major arteries" The only thing clogging up major arteries are vehicles, partially because you idiots keep getting in the way of transit(and not in the way that is self resolving). Yes, the bike lanes on roads like Deerfoot, Glenmore and Crowchild have got to go. I'm with ya, you MAGA ####.

Unreal we have to be ruled but such morons.

We need some potholes on the Bike Lanes! Give them some obstacles to keep them on their toes!

I know joking, but the state of quite a bit of the separated bike network has gotten pretty crappy like that.

What? How? How do pedal bikes make potholes?? Are you guys out there at night with pick-axes or something?

More often than not the lanes are in the drainage areas of the roads, hence the good ol' freeze thaw cycle beats them up over time.

That, and the nightly pick-axe meetups.

Siksika Nation Challenges Government of Alberta Decision to Lift Moratorium on Coal Development in the Rocky Mountains

https://siksikanation.com/siksika-na...cky-mountains/

Quote:
Chief Crowfoot added: “We have tried to engage the Government of Alberta in good faith over the past several years on this issue. They made commitments to consult with First Nations in regional land use plans and other forums but they just don’t listen. Litigation was our only option at this point. Once coal mines are approved the damage will be done and it will be too late.”

This isn't even a comment on if the bike lanes are a good idea or not, it's just there is 0 chance this guy has even contemplated bike lanes beyond the depth that allowing them sounds like not owning the libs, there for without looking into numbers, facts, or analysis of any kind they are bad.
