Problem is the offense loses focus and stops producing and then you can’t just turn it back on.

Schneider! Stops the bleeding for a bit. 9-1-2 hitters coming up. Need to get the first two so Judge can't tie it up.

Judge is just insane. I've never seen a player dominate the game the way he does.

He might be the best hitter the game has ever seen.

Another Schneider special. Walk Judge half the other times this series, sometimes halfway through a count, and you have a RP just off the DL but let him pitch to him in a 2 run game.

Good win, in spite of the manager.
Hazel Mae with the Ryan Leslie "let me hear myself speak and paint a story for 25 seconds before asking a softball question" interview style.

She doesn't do that normally, but I notice she does when they do those post game interviews in front of the fans with the stadium listening to it. She changes to "lemme butter this up for you to give a once line answer that gets the crowd cheering".

No issues with that in that setting.

Snatched a narrow victory from the jaws of a blowout win. 3 of 4, close it out. Bassit on the mound, can go great, or can go awful.

Bassitt's splits home and away are eye popping.

He's great at home and terrible on the road. Hopefully this continues for tomorrow at least.

The Yankees are never going to roll over. They are so tough. Being able to hold them off is a pretty big accomplishment - stopping the momentum that the Yankees had was a sign of maturity IMO.

I can’t imagine being the blue jays in 30 editor. One day you have a 2-1 game with few big plays and you basically show every at bat and then you have tonight.

It's unfortunate that this ended up being close. Would have been nice for all the leverage guys to get the day off and be rested for tomorrow.

And it's a long season in general (they play 14 games in 13 days right after the all-star break), be nice to keep guys as fresh as possible. Obviously given the opponent/situation you use the leverage guys to try and secure the win, but definitely too bad Berrios blew up in the 5th.

I wish they would adjust the time of it depending on the game. I often watch Jays in 30 on the SN app if I didnt catch the game, and I don't need to see every weak ground out to 2B in a 3-1 loss. If it only takes 15 min to get the highlights fine. But in a game with lots of highlights show them all.
