As someone else attested, there may not even be room for him on the Wranglers and I dont think you can take him back and....send him where?

I think Pelletier will get an NHL deal in Florida, Tampa, or Carolina. They need as much playable depth as they can get with the current cap situation and he's too effective for a PTO.

Maybe he lifts the Cup next year. That would be nifty.

Good point, but there is competition for those spots too. Cole Schwindt played over 40 games last year.
Pelletier’s draft pedigree should help him get another contract but his size is still an impediment for bottom of the roster. Availability is still the best ability and that has been an issue.

He’s not coming back unless he wants a 2 way AHL deal and even then I’m not sure

Yeah but Farabee is just a cap dump, hes such a nothing player that just takes up a roster spot. 40 point 2nd line winger on a bad team, 4th line checker on a good team. At least his contract isnt as long as Sharangovich

He's overpaid but maybe better than a nothing player. He can maybe be an effective 3rd liner on a good team.
But yeah it's really about Frost creating some offense. He was a big disappointment but watch him get 60 points next year.

Pelletier not juicy enough for the Flyers, eh? Flames need to tenderize him some more!

Can you tell us why? Everybody loved him here (including Conroy who was quite sad he had to trade him away)

He reminds me of Curtis Lazar, he will probably carve out a decent career as a role player.

yup, exactly. Hoping guys like Hozek, Strömgren, Kerins etc push for depth spots on the roster this year.

I would love to have Pelletier come back, but his spot has been filled.
Setting aside the 7 veterans already on the roster (Huberdeau, Kadri, Backlund, Coleman, Sharangovich, Lomberg and Kirkland), and just looking at the players 26 and under, our depth looks like this:
Zary......... Frost......... Coronato
Farabee.... Reschny..... Pospisil
Honzek..... Potter........ Klapka
Basha....... Stockselius Gridin
Suniev...... Misa.......... Battaglia
Stromgren Kerins........ Wyttenbach
Morton..... KING......... Lane
Matveiko, Hoskin, Laing, Lipinski, Ronni, Bell.......
Pelletier certainly doesn't slot into the top 9, and I don't want him in the way of the kids. Love the guy, but there isn't any room. That ship has sailed, unfortunately.

Pelletier isn’t good enough to pay in the top 9 in Florida. And his play style does not suit the 4th line.
That’s the problem for Pelletier - most teams want beef in their 4th line, not small guys who buzz around not accomplishing much.

I have my doubts.
Lazar: 6 ft, 203 lbs
Pelletier: 5’ 9”, 170 lbs

Pelletier plays the wrong style of game for his size. He’s not skilled enough to be top six and too small for bottom six. Hopefully he figures it out as he seemed nice.
