I think the Flames play better when they have a lot of toughness on the team. If you can't out-skill the other team, make them scared to win.

Wasn’t trying to single out any specific player. Point being that if the fourth line is jammed and you have someone who wants to be here (as is rumoured) you can make room. A lot of upset people on the board over this andersson situation (yours truly included) so start being ruthless with roster decisions and asset management. You have an opportunity to add with out subtracting, so it and figure out the details later. As Conroy says, have players who want to play here. If you are on the fence or seek greener pastures, we will help you find a new place.

It would be nice if one of Klapka/Lomberg/Jeannot could play centre. That line would be an absolute nuisance to play against.

On insider trading Lebrun made it sound like if the Flames traded Andersson they were looking to replace him via free agency. Did mention Gavrikov but I sure hope the Flamea steer clear.
I don’t really want any UFA’s that are out there.

Have a very good reliable rock solid source (google) that tells me multiple teams including Ottawa (google) are interested in him. Doubt he gets anything less than a three year deal to be honest.

yolo, send a $7 mil offer sheet to Ryker Evans and plug him into the top pair next year?
Would fill out the roster fairly nicely.
or at least use the threat and send Seattle a nice package for him that doesn't include next year's first.

If I was the Kraken I would just take the flames 2026 1st and 2026 3rd and thank the Flames for their business if that happened. I am sure they won’t miss 25 point dman Ryker Evans.
